Yvonne’s Background
In 2007 I began studying both Remedial Massage and Musculoskeletal Therapy, I then graduated with a Diploma in each field in 2008. Since graduating I have worked in various settings from positions within established businesses (including a hospital) to my own personal clinic. In 2012 I completed a Diploma in Bowen Therapy and I continue to attend workshops and keep myself up to date with all my skills. I am an accredited member of ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society) and I have over 15 years of experience.

Usually a seated massage 10-15 minute massage, often in a corporate environment to stressed office workers with tight necks, shoulders, and arms.
Treatments Can Include:

Systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues.

Application of pressure to tender muscle tissue to relieve pain and disfunction.

A holistic technique that works on connective tissue (fascia). Treatment consists of small moves at varying pressures, each at a specific site on the body.

Reflexology is grounding and relaxing. It involves the specific application of pressure to areas on the feet (or the hands). It is theorised that these areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Improves circulation and reduces pain and stress.

Reiki is a safe, non-invasive technique that uses ‘universal energy’ to encourage healing. It is a frequently used and medically recognised technique often used to soothe pain, anxiety, depression and other ailments. It promotes relaxation, peace, security and wellness.
